Evening runners,

It’s Friday already! We are all focusing on our second event of the year in the Brecon Beacons next Sunday. Just over a week to go! The location is in South Wales which is set to offer some of the most scenically stunning views for the trail challenges. We set off on our adventure from a quaint little village called Talybot-on-Usk where we offer four different distances for the event: the Ultra Marathon, Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k. 

We are quite pleased that we have had a few rainstorms and wetter days this week as we have been inside getting everything prepped from our banners to our checkpoint boxes, getting things sorted to lay down the courses and keep you all going with refreshments.

The trailer is packed up and we are all ready to go. Our team shall be heading up early next week to set up. It’s going to be one scenic road trip getting up there from South Devon. We are pretty overwhelmed as we have a record number of runners this year. Fantastic! This inspires us to keep on hosting such events for you all to push yourself past your limits and embrace the challenges ahead.

Monty has been a real help this week as ever, with his laid back ‘Everything will be okay’ attitude he manages to make everyone keep their spirits up. Spirits are well and truly up being so close to one of our biggest events yet so stay tuned for more exciting news to come. Get out and beat the trail this weekend!
