Bolt Head II Bolt Tail, what a wonder to explore

Head II Head Trail Events Co

Hello folks,

Another week, another wander into the unknown of the epic challenges ahead of us whilst embarking on our first Trail running event of the year. We kicked off our trail run in the stunning South West of England to venture off on foot on one rugged start to the trail running season of events to come.

What a lead up it had been working towards this moment so we could come together to trail run together. When we think back over all the challenges we have faced with creating them as well as physically embracing each event, it’s amazing to look back and see how we have progressed each year. So this year we have doubled the amount of events we had and if I’m honest, the scenery has doubled in being entirely stunning too! Each event we have done practice route mapping for has been one epic backdrop for our trail runs! And we’re all just getting so excited to be able to share each event with you as the months roll on.

Last week we all packed up the explorer mobile and ventured off to the coast to get the course laid out, set up our refreshment and our registration areas and get ourselves ready to rumble for our Head II Head event. We were feeling more prepared and raring to go than ever before. The trail ahead was a tough one but one we knew we’d make spectacular with fellow running fanatics. What a day last Saturday was hey. We had so many people turn up and so many say how much they enjoyed this particular route along the South West Coast. One step at a time and one awesome scenery to the next, everyone blitzed their expected records.

We take our hats off to all the trail runners involved as all the athletes that took part on the trail run with us last Saturday for the running challenge did incredibly well. It was a perfect running day with the weather too! One of the highlights whilst setting up the event was being able to hold a new born baby lamb at East Soar Farm. We all felt a new lease of life from the event and even more so after meeting this little guy!

We really just want to thank you to all for coming along to our first Head II Head Challenge last week. Thank you for all your wonderful feedback and kind comments about the course and marking that we laid down for you all. We will be sure to continue to bring you stunning trail runs across the United Kingdom. Thank you everyone and see you next year, if not before!

Anyhow, what a jolly good weekend and start to the season that was! We soon got on with sorting out the trailer whilst getting all our gear together again for our next challenge ahead… As you can probably imagine, we are all still feeding off the enthusiasm and feedback from Head II Head and as our second event in the Brecon Beacons is only in two weeks time and already sold out, we’re feeling incredibly optimistic about the events and brutal trails ahead of us.

When events take such time and dedication and energy to challenge yourself and to push boundaries to make each event as epic as the last, all hands need to be on deck and I must say, everyone in team Trail Events Co has been awesome. Everyone knows what needed to be done and we aced it!

So folks, would you believe it’s the weekend again already. Where’s adventure taking you this fine weekend? Do remember, it’s a bank holiday so make sure you go out and beat those trails! We’ll be out planning for our second event of the year kicking of in the Brecon Beacons. Incredibly, it’s all booked up so please come along to our Sea Swim and Trail running event commencing at South Milton Sands on the 25th of June. It’s one not to miss for all you adrenaline seekers!

Keep on adventuring!

Everyone at Trail Events Co.
