At our checkpoints you will find water, squash, coke, electrolytes, sweets, crisps, nuts, chocolate, bananas, cake, new potatoes and other carby bits on the marathon and ultra checkpoints . We are trying to reduce the use of plastic so we ask runners to bring reusable cups for coke and squash. There will not be any checkpoints during runs on our training weekends.

For the first time we are offering Day 2. This gives you the change to complete the course in reverse the day after your first run, going in a clockwise direction on Day 2.

Maybe you will take part in day 1 or just day 2, but who is going to try and complete both days!?

What a course to try this out on, stunning which ever direction you run it in! Set at the East Soar Outdoor Activities Centre on the beautiful South Devon coast you will not be able to make up your mind which way you preferred the run, clockwise or anticlockwise – Although if you have tried this challenge before you might be pleased not to face the hill to the finish that you have to undertake on day 1!

There is now a 10% discount if you are entering both days! Just add the events to your basket and the discount will be applied.

Canicross friendly (please ensure your dog has trained for the event).

Number & Timing Chip

For our events, numbers and timing chip's are to be collected on the day of the event at registration.

Please make a note of your registration time for the distance you selected and make sure you arrive giving yourself enough time to register.

Please also make a note of your briefing time and ensure you attend the briefing.

Both the number and the timing chip have to be worn at all times during the event.

You also have the chance to rent GPS tracking units, which enable your friends and family to track you all the way around the course.

Signage

We use a number of signs during our events. Arrow markers are on a hi-viz reflective red with white arrow to mark the direction to be taken.

We advise runners to bring a map of the route with them on event day in case of emergencies. You can download the map and print it and you can download GPX files to your device.

Regarding training weekends, no signage will be provided, as all runs will be guided.

Camping Info

Camping is available in a couple of formats through East Soar Farm themselves.

If you are trying both days we highly recommend booking up your accommodation sooner rather than later!
