What to expect:

Our aim for the weekend is to integrate like minded trail runners of all abilities, to share our passion and experiences. We will provide support and techniques for trail running. To either enhance or to encourage confidence (we can support experienced runners to the beginner) we will have two support runners in each group both with a GPS device. You will make new friends, relax and best of all get some miles of beautiful but serious trail running in. We hope that you will leave these mountains feeling motivated and exhilarated having gained some experience and running confidence on the trails.

Medical support will also be available. We will have transport to pick up runners at various points if required.

What is included:

Half Board Bunk House Accommodation (breakfast and lunch, bedding & towels included), with Wi-Fi, wood burner, showers. 14 bunks available (female & males are separate although the last ones booked may be mixed gender bunk). You will also receive a Trail Events Smorf Snood or Technical Running T-shirt.

The Location:

Perth y Pia is set below the Table Mountain near Llanbedr – Crickhowell in The Black Mountains, in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales.

The bunk house boasts magnificent views across the Black Mountains and beyond. The bunk house position and facilities make this the perfect place for a guided trail running weekend.

On Friday night a warm welcome awaits those that are lucky enough to book a spot, with the wood burner on and waiting for you, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. Homemade cake will be there for you on arrival.

A large communal kitchen is the heart of the house with facilities that allow you to enjoy some creative cooking for your dinners, unless you fancy ordering take out to be delivered or exploring the pubs and restaurants in the local town of Crickhowell, which is the Town of the Year. There is plenty of parking outside the house. There is a huge fire pit. Most of all the location provides direct access to the beautiful trails that the Black Mountains have to offer.
