Good morning fellow Trail Runners,

We hope you have been out and about beating those trails and pushing yourselves to the limit!

Our trail running adventures have been in absolute abundance this last week making sure to catch as many sunsets and sunrises as possible and of course taking a break from the computer screen and take our champ pup, Monty out on trail runs to go explore more coast paths and rocky retreats to challenge ourselves on the lead up to our first event of the year, the 22km Head II Head Challenge in Devon.

Our first Trail running event kicks off in under a weeks time for our 22km Head II Head located at East Soar Outdoor Experience. We got a little too excited yesterday so our team ventured out to the location where the event shall take place and embarked upon a practise run of the trail. Fantastic location! All you trail runners, this is one event not to be missed in less than a weeks time!

Monty our Trail dog came too of course and took the lead as he ran along the epic coastline and through the wild flowers towards Bolt Head where in fact we took a perch after our super scenic trail run to quench our thirst from the local Beer Brewers who were non other than Summerskills Brewery where we enjoyed their local ‘Bolt Head’ beer- a bottle of which will be given to the first 25 men and first 25 women who cross the finish line at our event on Saturday. Great way to end the weekend and to get us in the stride for the week to come!

Let’s let you in on the rest of our last week… We started our adventuring off early. This morning kicked off at Hope’s Nose where Monty was in his most mischievous form finding tennis balls at the bottom of coves, insisting we climb all the way down to throw the ball in the sea for him. Along with catching the sun rise from the coves whilst seeking sunsets from the cliff tops and of course trail running through the newly bloomed flowers we also have a few exciting updates to ignite your souls with excitement. We have one member of our team back from his travels across Cambodia and other scenic lands where he embarked on an abundance of pretty epic excursions and trail runs along the way. We also had a new member of our team start a few weeks backs who’s adventurous soul fits in quite wonderfully. (Infact the lady writing this blog post).

So, we have grown our Trail Event Co wolf pack and are in full swing for our trail running events on the horizon. News just in… We are also looking for a Trail Events Ambassador to come on board and join our Trail Events Co team so if you’re an adventurer of the outdoors and you love to trail run in stunning locations and would love to be involved in our trail running events across the UK’s most scenic coastal paths and National parks that we have rolling throughout the year then please email to [email protected]

As you can probably sense, our team here are pretty excited for our first Event to kick off for Head II Head in under a weeks time now.
