South Milton Sands Run/Swim

South Milton Sands,

Event Date TBA

Starting off on the beautiful South Milton Sands with a 1k sea swim in the very protected bay. Wetsuits are a must for this event.

Once you have completed the swim, you will leave the beach for the transition area (on concrete to avoid sandy toes as much as possible!) before taking on the 15k trail run, which is a challenging run and breathtaking route in equal measure. Heading off along the coastal path, you will take in some magical coastal views around Thurlestone Rock and up and around Hope Cove and along towards Salcombe, before heading back over Bolberry Down.

You finish off back at South Milton Sands, where you will be able to relax on the beach or take part in the rest of the water sports weekend, with kayaking, windsurfing and stand-up paddle boarding on offer, or just sit in the cafe enjoying the views and recover from your mornings work.

Competitor Limit: 250

These are to be collected on the day at registration.

Please make a note of your registration time for the distance you selected and make sure you arrive giving yourself enough time to register.

Please also make a note of your briefing time and ensure you attend the briefing.

Both the number and the timing chip have to be worn at all times during the event.

We use a number of signs during our events. Arrow markers are on a white correx board with a black arrow to mark the direction to be taken.

We also use striped tape, these are placed after any split to reassure you that you are on the correct trail. We also use them along long stretches where no turn off is required or directional arrows needed.

For some of our events we provide maps of the route at the start of the event. You must keep these maps on you at all times, as a back up to be referred to if needed.

For our swim events, buoys are visible in the water to show turning points and keep you in a straight line.
