At our checkpoints you will find water, squash, coke, electrolytes, sweets, crisps, nuts, chocolate, bananas, cake, new potatoes and other carby bits on the marathon and ultra checkpoints . We are trying to reduce the use of plastic so we ask runners to bring reusable cups for coke and squash. There will not be any checkpoints during runs on our training weekends.

Checkpoint information coming soon.

Relay/ Ras a Rali Glyndwr Kit List

We are very excited to add this brand new event to our calendar in 2022.
Set in the heart of the Cambrian Mountains in Mid Wales, this circular 100 race starts and finishes at the Star Inn in Dylife.
The route mainly follows the Glyndwr Way, a national trail with the most spectacular vistas Wales has to offer.
The 100 is an ideal race for someone’s first 100, the course isn’t overly lumpy and the trails aren’t too technical underfoot.
The Relay consists of 5 x 20 mile stages. Great fun for a running club team or with a bunch of your mates. The stages are:
Dylife – Llanidloes – End of stage 1/ Start leg 2
Llanidloes – Caersws – End of stage 2 / Start of leg 3
Caersws – Llandagfan – End of stage 3 / Start of leg 4
Llandagfan – Glantywyn – End of stage 4 / Start of leg 5
Glantywyn – Dylife – End of stage 5 and the Finish
Ample parking and camping available.

Please ensure your address is up to date on the system you used to register, at least 2 weeks. If you enter the event at the last minute, you will be able to collect your bib and timing chip on the day.

Please make a note of your registration time for the distance you selected and make sure you arrive giving yourself enough time to register.

Please also make a note of your briefing time and ensure you attend the briefing.

Both the number and the timing chip have to be worn at all times during the event.

You also have the chance to rent GPS tracking units, which enable your friends and family to track you all the way around the course.

Signage

We use a number of signs during our events. Arrow markers are on a hi-viz reflective red with white arrow to mark the direction to be taken.

We advise runners to bring a map of the route with them on event day in case of emergencies. You can download the map and print it and you can download GPX files to your device.

Regarding training weekends, no signage will be provided, as all runs will be guided.
