Still set at the wonderful Cloud Farm in The Doone Valley, Exmoor is the perfect spot for a trail running race. Back for year four and we have a little twist. We are changing the routes for 2018 and the maps will be ready shortly. Canicross friendly.

On offer in 2018 will be the 10K, which is actually just over 11k! We will also have the half marathon, marathon and ultra marathon, all of which have changed their routes for the new event.

The new courses are designed to take in more trails, with a nice gentle trail finish, rather than the sapping driveway of Cloud Farm.

Still set to be one of our toughest events, the elevation will test the keenest of runners to their limits. Taking in tough coastal path sections and boggy open moorland Exmoor truly has everything you could want.

Now being held on a Saturday for the first time, it will give you a chance to stay over after the event and enjoy the area and it’s surroundings. With new parking facilities available and the start/finish line being moved slightly, to take in the extra number of runners wanting to take part.

Camping is available at Cloud Farm pre & post event and the Doone Cafe at the bottom of the driveway serves some excellent food.

This event always sells out, please don’t leave it too long to enter as places are limited.

Please also make a note of your briefing time and ensure you attend the briefing.

Both the number and the timing chip have to be worn at all times during the event.

Signage

We use a number of signs during our events. Arrow markers are on a white correx board with a black arrow to mark the direction to be taken.

We also use striped tape, these are placed after any split to reassure you that you are on the correct trail. We also use them along long stretches where no turn off is required or directional arrows needed.

For some of our events we provide maps of the route at the start of the event. You must keep these maps on you at all times, as a back up to be referred to if needed.
