Covid cancellation policy for 2021

We are very much looking forward to getting back to events in 2021. The lockdown imposed in early January indicated we might be in for a tough year. We remain hopeful this is just a small blip at the start of the year and that the rest of the year (with the new vaccine) should be a lot better.

As always, we will never let you down and cancel an event completely, it will always be postponed and moved to a new date. We can’t predict when lockdowns will be introduced, so with this in mind, we will carry on as if events will be taking place as normal. Our upcoming events are booked and ready for as soon as we are allowed to get back out there.

If by chance your event is affected by Covid-19, then please see the options below, as these will be offered to you in those circumstances.

No refunds will be given as written in our terms and conditions, so please make sure you read the terms and conditions before signing up to an event.

You will not lose your money, you will always be able to transfer to another event/have credit to use when you are ready.

Here are the options available to you if an event is affected by Covid-19;

1. Take part in the same event next year. Anyone wishing to take part in next year’s event, does not have to do anything, you will automatically be transferred into the event in 2022.

2. Transfer your entry to another of our events. You have until the end of 2022 to take this option. The same as a credit note.

3.  If you want to give your place to another runner, you can transfer your entry to the other person on the entry site.

4. Donate your entry fee to Trail Events Co, to help us navigate these times, contributing towards costs we have incurred for the event. We will be incredibly grateful to those of you choosing this, thank you.
